Pennsylvania: July 2017

We had the best, most relaxing time with my family in Pennsylvania. All of my siblings and nieces and nephews were there and we all got to be under one roof. Such a blessing that hardly ever happens! It was so nice to be at home during summer as well.–I had forgotten how beautiful Pennsylvania is in summer! On our first day there, we got to go to an outdoor fun park called Costa’s where we rode go karts and played arcade games with the kids. I took Nathan to downtown Milford an we walked around the shops and picked up some sparklers and fireworks for the 4th of July. On Sunday we all went to church together and then went out to eat at the Walpack Inn. It is a huge rustic style restaurant with big open windows that overlook the pretty woods. We got to take some family pictures outside the restaurant. On Monday, Adrienne, Vanessa, Nathan and I hiked on the McDade trail to Milford Beach, which was really lovely. The trails had lots of really tall trees. Later, we had our 4th of July picnic and then in the evening Dad, Nathan, Adrienne, Gabe and I drove to Hawk’s Nest along the Delaware River. Nathan and I did some sparklers when we got back. I really cherished these days we had all together, And didn’t want the time to end. See some pictures below:
